School got out on May 29th. Here are some pictures I took on May 28th and May 29th. These are our end of school year memories.

My 3rd grader in the middle with two of his good friends. The tall boy doesn't speak English that well but he was so very endearing and a very sweet little boy. He always had a smile on his face. He had come over to me and I could tell he wanted me to take a picture of him so I asked if he wanted to take a picture with my son and he was very excited and went over and got him. The other youngster I didn't really know that well but he wanted to be in the picture with his friends and I thought that my son would like the memory later.

This is my middle son and a classmate. This was taken the day before school got out. The 1st grade class was having an ice cream sundae party and the kids got to put on most of their own toppings (see picture of toppings below and image 55-60 kids waiting to put toppings on).

My middle son after he got his award for partaking in that days activities.

My middle son waiting to get my oldest son the day before school got out.

One of the gifts we gave my oldest son's teacher. Inside is a picture of my son and his teacher after he won a Math award in the cafeteria.

My oldest son after he had handed out the end of the school year goody bags.

My middle son getting his backpack for the next to last time in 1st grade.

My oldest son holding a rock he had painted. His class painted rocks for Father's Day. Since their dad is not involved, my son decided to keep his rock. He's grown quite attached to it lol. I told him he could give it to his Paw Paw (great grandpa) but he's holding onto it.

This was taken in the first grade classroom by the reading bath tub. The two in red are mine and the other little boy is my middle son's friend.

Standing one last time in his 1st grade classroom

Helping a friend on the last day of school.

My oldest son and his 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Bright.

Walking away from the school, now as 2nd and 4th graders.

At one of the schools here (possibly where Gideon will go - there's several schools he could be sent to and we don't know any of that info yet) has a read LOFT. Gideon went up there and LOVED IT.
I hope he gets to use that loft and go to school there. I think it's something he'd use a lot. He loves places like that and reading.
My four year old daugher went to her very first sleepover two night ago. After I dropped her off, I went to the car and had tears streaming down. I think it's just a little at a time letting them grow up and become independent. It's very difficult for a Mom to do.
