(Kay, not long now. Love ya, sis!) It is a double whammy. Not only is my dad's birthday right around the corner, but it is also my sister's birthday (May 31st). I don't know what it must feel like to have a child for a birthday present. It must have really been something!
I won't reveal my sister's age. I don't think she would take kindly to that. I can, however, reveal to you what kind of person she is. For those that don't know, she is a Gather member and you can find her here.
When I think of Kay, I think of someone of great beauty...light...determination...strength. There are so many descriptions I could use for her. Although we've had the common disagreements that seem to happen with siblings, I have always known that I could count on her...for support, guidance, and to lean on. She's always there for me, even when I may not deserve it. When I do something she doesn't agree with, she's the first one to say, "What in the heck are you doing?".
Here's just glimpse of my sister

This one is my all time favorite (hehehe). I would apologize, but I just couldn't help myself:

Happy Birthday, Kay! I love you.

Renda, you are the sweetest sister. Thank you for this---I love the way that you share us with everyone. Dad's article is great also. I can tell you that having me for a present, probably was a blessing as well as a curse. I am sure I have been an angel at times and a devil at times. As a matter of fact, I can tell you about the devil part---never mind You were there with me lots of those times LOL Sharing Dad's birthday has been great---I love to try to call him first but usually he beats me because he gets up with the chickens.
Thanks to everyone for the comments, everyone has been so kind.
