(It's right around the corner, Dad! I love you.) I have decided for my "Another Year" articles, to add more photos. I think the photos basically speak for themselves. May 31st, my dad will be another year older. Some of you may have read a little about him in a previous article.
Daddy is a magnificent person. Not only is he a wonderful father, but he is also a wonderful grandfather and great grandfather. Anyone that can survive raising two sons and three daughters has to be special. Anyone that can lose one of those sons and be a rock while we all grieved has to be amazing.
He has always been my idol. I have the utmost respect and love for him. We spent weekends and vacations mostly on the water. I learned to fish, swim, and water ski. He taught me work ethic. He taught me to respect my elders. He taught me so many things, but mostly he taught me how important family and love is.
Dad works at a school and in 2007, the graduating class dedicated the yearbook to him. It was an enormous honor, not only for us, but for those at the school. They finally learned what his family already knew....Dad is an incredible person to have in your life.

Dad, I love you very much and am so honored to have been your "present"! It has been a blast over the years because I always try to be the one to remember to call you first LOL---You are the greatest and have been a rock and an inspiration to all of us. Hope your day is GREAT!!!
