Mandrake and dried salamander tails

For the spells of a talisman

Read from dog-eared manuals-

Pinned dolls carried under arms

In manila envelops-

To manipulate desires of an eligible man.

Many manufactured manhunts

by Desperate Woman, with high hopes

Having romantical delusions

Of Romeo sweeping her away

Mantel-framed fire burned out

Leaving no illusions

Carefully bringing the man doll

To light, with maniacal laughter,

Mans' heart is pierced

But in truth, with love different

Than what was sought after

(grins) Thanks, Ernie! Hey, I don't know why this isn't showing as posted to the group, but it should, I hope. I will be doing errands and will not be able to re-submit if it doesn't work.....I am going to edit only to check the groups I've slected to post, quickly before I leave.
