Here you have the second part of my flower and flora photo tour. Hope you like the rest of the pictorial from The Atlanta Botanical Garden.
It's kind of ironic that it's taken me nearly 17 years to visit this place (if it's been around that long). There are a bunch of things in Atlanta I have still yet to do like tour the World of Coca-Cola and visit the Georgia Aquarium. It's also been 10 years since I visited Zoo Atlanta.
Anyway, on to the photos...

There were all types of cacti in the rock garden area.

The various planters had such a nice mix of plants and flowers too.

There was an entire wall of morning glory that was quite impressive.

I thought this magnolia bloom was so unique looking.

And so as the morning passes the afternoon and the sun begins to really heat things up, I decided to head home. I think I spent about 3.5 hours touring, and at the cost of $12, I think it was a steal of a deal.
Hope you enjoyed seeing this wonderful Atlanta attraction through my eyes and my numerous photo essays.

All the photos are beautiful.Specially the first one, yellow one was my all time fa. I don't remember the name and haven't seen from a lon time but I used to play a lot with the petals and enjoyed the touch. My Mom used to tell me, not to touch these, but I kept touching those.
Thanks for bringing back some very sweet memories.
I loved that last pic in particular - but they were all grrrreat!

I need to spend at least 4-5 days in Atlanta to see everything I need to see such as the Georgia Aquaruim, Zoo Atlanta, The underground and much more, we'll have to plan for that. Thanks again for the beautiful photos.
