Hello Gather friends,

   I was dissapointed to read yet another yahoo news article, expecting gasoline to continue rising in cost.  I live in Auburn, CA (northern CA) and just paid $4.35 at the pumps this morning.

I paid $3.80 on our military post Tuesday . It ranges from $3.85 up to$3.97 off post.

$3.79 the price is actually $3.86 but if you use a walmart giftcard to pay for gas they are taking 7 cents off a gallon. but I have noticed that some other walmarts are only taking 3 cents off a gallon. but either way it is cheaper than at other gas stations around here.

$3.999 a gallon. I just spent $80+ to fill up my Explorer and the "check fuel" light wasn't even on yet. YIKES! I swear I cannot wait until the kids are grown and I no longer need a car that can seat at least 6 (me, hubby, and our 4 kids).

In rural Alaska it can get up to $12 a gallon if it flown in but once our barge shipment gets in this summer we will be paying over $7 a gallon for gas in my village. for a 55 gallon drum of heating fuel it will be around $450.00. Most homes in my village use at least two or three drums a month from Oct. to April winter months depending on the size of your house and the heating system you have. So no way is northern Californians paying the most- rural Native Alaskans are and we own the frickin' land it's being drilled out of!
