Well, another problem with XP SP3 has begun to receive some wide attention. This one involves antivirus software from Symantec (the makers of Norton Anti-Virus) and potential corruption of the Windows registry

Though I've written some warnings, I should note that I have some successful SP3 installations. A mix of successful and unsuccessful results seems to be the "order of business" on most tech sites I read. Because there is so little new functionality, however, home users may want to exercise caution while the bugs are worked out.
