I wonder?
Why do we women not have the guts to wear what we want,
when we want. If a young woman decides to wear a long skirt, they are looked on, as iether being a
Hippy or old fashioned. Then there is the Winter, where some places are so cold, the skin begins to turn
blue, and even then, the women still have a fear of not looking good, or someone will make a negative
comment, and would rather freez in a short skirt, than cover up.
How many Men would wear short trousers in the Winter?
I personaly think there would be very few.
Where does this thinking come from?

Yes if they are straight, with no vent on the back,
but there many A line and semi flared, that look good and give room to move.
I was not a pant person and didn't even own a pair of jeans when I moved to the states a long time ago. Here it was jeans - jeans - and jeans. I've never understood that - now when I go back to Europe to visit I see a lot of jeans.
I too live in Florida now so I wear a lot of shorts. Took me a while to stop being self conscious about that - now I love it - loud colors and shorts, capris or pants.
Long skirt - no way - I just gave the last one to Goodwill.
Knee length it is for me with dresses and skirts, except for one short skirt - after all I am an old lady now:)
