Amazing, but true. A man found a box under the bed while he was moving. It contained a cup his grandfather, a antique and scrap dealer had given near the end of WWII. He thought it was brass since that is primarily what his father traded, but when tested it came back as pure gold from the 3rd-4th BCE. Though not an expert this cup differs stylistically from other cups or rhytons of the period. The one just discovered is from around the time of Alexander the Great's conquest east into Persia.
