I know it's almost June and all, but I'm finally gettting around to posting the photos from my middle son's 1st Grade Music Program held back in February this year.
The whole night was fun, it was like they brought all the parents in for a special class session in the gym instead of the normal music room. The music teacher ran things and she was just super cute and made funny faces the whole time so it was fun to watch.
My friend Carla's son (Gage) is in one of the 1st grade classes too so I got some shots of him as well. Here's Gage!

There was lots of hand signals, kids following each other around the room, and even a cute song that is driving me nuts right now because I don't know the name of it and can't find it anywhere online! It went something like 'Parcel Man, Parcel Man - do you have a letter?' and a child would sit in the middle of a circle of kids while another child walked walk around with a little bag and left it behind one of the kids. Then they'd chase each other around the circle and if they got caught, they would have to sit in the middle. My son had to sit in the middle and of couse he was goofing off and trying to make people laugh. He's such a joker.
Of course he sees my camera out and decides to HAM it up a little...
What? Was someone being too loud, Alex?
"What? Did you say something, Mom?"
Do any of you know what song I'm talking about? I'm almost to the point of waking my kids up to ask them to sign it to me. I'm only kidding! I won't wake them up, but I do hope I remember to ask them about it in the morning. :o)
