Obama today blasted the fact John McCain for not letting the press into fundraisers with President Bush and claimed it is becasue John McCain is ashamed the President. Does that mean Barack Obama is ashmaed of Florida Democrats and Oprah since he has held fundraisers with them that did not allow in the press.
From the National Journal
Barack Obama, speaking in Nevada today about the nation's housing crisis,
launched his speech by chiding John McCain for holding a fundraiser with
President Bush. Full speech after the jump, but here's the related (and largely
predictable) snippet:
Today, John McCain is having a different kind of
meeting. He's holding a fundraiser with George Bush behind closed doors in
Arizona. No cameras. No reporters. And we all know why. Senator McCain doesn't
want to be seen, hat-in-hand, with the President whose failed policies he
promises to continue for another four years.

Good article
As for todays fundraiser between Bush and McCain, you neglected to mention that McCain's campaign had to actually change the venue because the President decided to campaign fundraiser. It was originally suppose to be held at an auditorium (lot's of people). When the President decided to join McCain, they switched venues to a private residence so the press could be kept out. If it were held in the auditorium, by law the press would be allowed in.
The most powerful woman in show business celebrated her favorite candidate with 1,500 guests at her palatial estate in this coastal enclave south of Santa Barbara Tickets to the sold-out private event went for $2,300 apiece, keeping them within campaign finance limits.
Stevie Wonder performed for guests, who included Sidney Poitier, Forest Whitaker, Chris Rock, Cindy Crawford, Jimmy Connors, Linda Evans, Dennis Haysbert and many others. Will Smith, Jamie Foxx and Halle Berry also were expected, though it was unclear if they were in attendance. The media were barred from the fundraiser."

Obama's Florida plans indicate he is preparing for the general election campaign against Republican John McCain while trying to wrap up the Democratic presidential nomination.
"The people of Florida have been robbed of the opportunity to get to know him," said Joan Joseph of Jupiter, who coordinates campaign volunteers in Palm Beach County. "As things are settling down, and as a resolution to the delegate selection becomes more realistic, he feels it's time for him to reacquaint himself with the voters of Florida."
The last time the Democratic front-runner rallied Palm Beach County voters was in March 2007, Joseph said.
Since then, he has held a few fundraisers in Florida while steering clear of the state's press and public. He and the other Democratic candidates pledged nine months ago to avoid public campaigning in the state after the national party stripped Florida of its delegates as punishment for holding a January primary."

"The peopel they get for the President shell out much bigger money and want a more intiment enviroment for their money. "
This is utter bullshit, as usual. The event was initially scheduled for the convention center, but was moved for two reasons: 1) attendance would come nowhere near filling that venue, and 2) McSame doesn't want to be seen near the worst president in US history.
Nope you just dont like it when the goldenboy is shown for what he is
He knows nothing about foreign policy, doesn't know how many states make up the USA, is pro gun control, pro abortion, wants to give amnesty to illegal aliens, wants to give social security to illegal aliens, wants to raise taxes, and is much to liberal for my taste.
He will not win the general election no matter how much you koolaid drinkers whine and moan.
Booshie and McSame are NOT my goldenboys. They're yours. Sorry for what they are.
