While I was looking through my Atlanta Botanical Garden photos for ones that fit into this theme, I came across two of the exhibit photos I forgot to include, luckily one of them was in a pond.
So in continuing with the trend of not cluttering up my gather gallery or the feeds of my connections, I'm showcasing more of my photos from yesterday into themed photo essays. This one includes picture of ponds, pond plants, fountains and pond artwork.
Here's a tour of some more of the things I saw...

This was another one of the Sculpture in Motion art pieces.

I would love to have this cattails & butterfly piece in my yard!

Bet this fountain is cool when it's turned on with all the water running out of the mouth.

I think I'm going to return here in the Fall just to see how different everything is at that time of year.
Hope you enjoyed this selection of photos.

< wishing I was at the botanical gardens today!
Thanks so much for posting this to
my group
Those waterlilies are stunning and I love that fountain face.
I'm featuring this in the group.
Vic, there are drops and packets of stuff you put in your ponds and birdbaths that don't allow the skeeters to breed and are safe for other animals who drink the water. I have the stuff for my birdbath. The only thing with ponds is that you have to net them cause the herons and egrets will come and eat your fish.
My very favorite one was the little girl statue walking on the rocks. That one reminds me of my daughter!
Thanks for the photo essay!!
What beautiful shots :)
I appreciate that you group your images by theme or location....you take us along for a tranquil walk!
