Yesterday I went to an artsy-fartsy store and saw this display of shoes and immediately thought of our good friend Ina. Though I am not a shoe lover, I can understand those that have such a passion!

Ron, most of guy's accessories are boring, that's why it's so fun being a girl. You don't even get to paint your toenails.
We could do something about men's shoes being boring. We could open a shoppe and sell men's shoes with flowers, bows, jewels and glitter. I bet the the men would come flocking... for isn't it the male bird that has all the beautiful plumage? We could sell hologram golf shoes in blue, flowered combat boots with mirrors, and feathered hiking boots.
If Ron wants to paint his toenails, he can. I, the painted lady, give him permission. I imagine the ladies would come flocking...didn't he just write an article about all the ladies in Gather he would like to date?

I looked over each pair and drooled! I can't do much in the way of heels these days, but I still love looking at them. I'd like to hold them in my arms.
You're right about looking at things and thinking about Gather friends. I do it al the time. I see glow-in-the-dark stuff and think of flit, great recipes make me think of Madame Donna, kindergarteners make me think of you...

Bob, thanks for thinking about me re: the bird book. Thank heavens it was too expensive - my apartment is bursting at the seams with books! My landlady would evict me if I got any more books. LOL!!! Not true, but you know what I mean.
Very interesting shoes, but not my style!
I will NEVER look at another pair of shoes without thinking of you...and when I see a bird, I think of Roy...and a motorcycle, Magi and a llama, marge. I know more about my Gather friends then I do about the teachers I have taught along side for years!
Does your husband often have fits? You should bring him to the Vets.
The book had absolutely gorgeous hand painted pictures of birds by Audubon. First edition. No wonder it was valued at $350.
I love browsing in these types of shops... can't afford the merchandise and would probably break my neck if I tried to walk in any of these shoes but they are a delight to look at and imagine an occasion where one could wear them!

I know what you mean about seeing something and it reminds you of a Gather acquaintance! It's fun.
