Jean, I am so riled up from reading Robin's article and the close to 60 comments so far in the comment thread, I can hardly think straight. In spite of this, I am very glad you referred me to this debate. Now I am going to return to the debate and see if I can clear my head enough to respond in a coherent and effective way.
No one knows what people are thinking . I think we would be shocked at what some people are really thinking below the surface . We only have what people are willing to share with us and we have to accept that or lock our selves away from society . You see a child and never dream about what they might become . Our very existence depends on trust . I will take that as I must to live in this society or any other for that matter . We have to trust those around us are being honest .
I was actually quite surprised at the opinions. More people than I thought said telling was not always good. I assumed that everyone thought it was imperative.
Hi Jean, I left a very lengthy response yesterday on Robin's article. He completely overlooked it and responded to the comments following mine, but not to mine. I don't know what to think except that he did not have any comeback to what I said. Would you do me a favor and read what I wrote when you have the chance and let me know if I am on target or off base or whatever else you think about what I wrote? Thanks.
