She walked over three mountains in her dream, slipping only once into a chasm
but that once was THE once, and that chasm, THE chasm.
She entered the chasm feet first, but was soon flying through a breathable green light sea.
It was then that the odor of frying onions awoke her,
and she found herself standing in a mud hut kitchen somewhere in Africa,
invisible and confused.
Her presence was perceived by the tiny holy child nursing at his mother's breast.
He stopped his sucking and cried out to the stranger of light with a strong recognition,
and suddenly all barriers fell away from the remembering.
She went back in time then, to the three mountains, and back before the start of the trek,
to the cave where, in several other lives, she had spent years in meditation.
She went into witness consciousness and asked for an overview of her lessons on earth,
and received a simple feeling:
a glowing awareness in the center of her heart.
An awareness she could enter with her consciousness;
an awareness she could expand, and use to connect with conscious hearts around the planet
and beyond.
Satisfied, she knew she was done.
She returned for a moment to the energetic connection with the holy child in Africa.
She made sure that their hearts were in perfect harmony for all time,
and then she returned to her body where it sat in the early morning stillness
of her bedroom, with the light of a May dawn and the sounds of birdsongs and
the smell of frying onions coming through the slightly open window.
She breathed deeply, acknowledging her connection with her body and with the breath of trees.
She allowed sensation to return, and the sense of power of presence to expand from inside out.
She was ready to re-ignite her practice of daily life good will to all beings.
This life around, she wasn't in robes, she didn't have a monastery or a hierarchy.
She was a liberated bodhisattva exploring outside the coccoon.

Right now I'm into in-the-moment meditations = basically remembering to breathe / calm & center at various times of day and night, and often "being" this while "doing" that. Something that comes with being 61. (c:*
"She breathed deeply, acknowledging her connection with her body and with the breath of trees."
This reminds me of a dream I had, in some ways, where I was told about the nature of being and doing. I'll have to check out my dream journal and see if I can't get that printed in an article ~ for the paper.
I liked Peter's comment, too. Is Bodhisattva the female word for Buddha? I'd not heard that word before.
Your artwork is so heavenly. I truly look forward to seeing the new ones when they come out ~ the color, the symbols, and your magic touch of course.
Rosa - Bodhisattva is one who has attained Buddhahood and has also taken the vow of the Bodhisattva - to keep reincarnating and working with all sentient beings.
Female and male Buddhas are both referred to as Buddhas. I thank you for asking that question and getting me to clarify, as always.
Smiling - here I'll refer others to your artwork, too!
Blessings ~
