The Senior Center has asked the seniors who ride the bus for $2.00 a day. The seniors go to eat at the senior center five days a week. Donations for the meal is $2.00 a day. The seniors have said they do not have the money.
They have now advertised in the paper for donations for the senior center. This can mean the closing of the senior center.
Sad but true this is happening all across America. We are a rural community, and have no bus service. We are too far spread out for bus service to be feasible.
