Harry Potter Movie News.. Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows

Just thought I'd post a little news for the die-hard Harry Potter fans, in case they hadn't heard.  If you are awaiting.. as I am, and not so patiently.. the release of the next Harry Potter movie, you will be happy to know that "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will be out in November.  It's taking forever to get it out, but it is finally on its way.  The good and the bad news is that the next, and final, Harry Potter movie won't be out until 2010!  YIKES!  That seems like a really, really long wait to me, and I'm kinda unhappy that it will take that long to get to the next movie.. but, the good news is that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will actually be two movies.  The first part will be out in May of 2010, and the last part will be out in May of 2011.  So they should be able to get everything into the movie and not have to cut out some of the best and really important parts to get it into one movie. It also gives us Harry Potter fans one more movie to look forward to.

You should watch em! I think even if you haven't read the books, the movies are still good... but the books are better. They have to leave out so much of the best stuff to make the movies.

Thanks for the timetable. I love this series, but Harry and the others are looking soooo old! - I can't imagine how they will appear in the final installments.

LOL .. I thought of that too.. they'll all be in their 20s by the final movie ..and they already look mature.. but they'll probably start filming within the next year or so.. so maybe they won't be that much older when they actually film. Cant be helped though.. they have to finish the series and it just wouldn't work with other actors.. people want the original actors.. we'll just have to pretend they all look like high school students still :O)

Thanks for the update. I'm an avid fan also. It will be interesting how they handle the older actors.

I can't wait either.. but then again, once the movies are done, it's all over.. no more new Harry Potter stuff, ever! that will be sad.. but I still can't wait to see them lol

I have been strapped for time the past year so I haven't even finished the last book yet! However, I did cheat and read the ending already so that might be why I'm taking my time LOL.

I'm so excited for the movies! They are taking forever to release though! I think I'm going to be mad when the last book is split into 2 parts that come out a year apart.

it's only 6 month apart, but yeah, it will really be a killer when we have to wait for one more movie to come out to see the whole thing.. but then again, it will let us savor the little bit of Harry we have left til it's all over.. LOL It took me foreeeever to get through Order of the Phoenix.. I had no time to read, but once I finished it I finished the last two in like a week... :O)
