What is in your cookie jar?

Since I am not supposed to be eating cookies, I keep my tea bags in my cookie jar. How about you? What's in your cookie jar??

I didnt have room for mine, they are both BIG cow cookie jars, so I left them packed away. I never keep anything in them anyways. I dont think the cookies stayed fresh enough in them.

They are displayed on the top shelf of my china cabinet. I have three and all are precious and very sentimental. One is my husband's grandmother's in the shape of an owl. He has fond memories of eating "owl eyes" cookies when he was little!

We don't have an official "cookie jar" any more, we keep our cookies in a tupperware bowl. Right now I believe there are generic chocolate "Oreos" in it.

My take on this is that 'what's in your cookie jar' translates to what's ur current fav snack - and mine is currently wild cherry m&ms - but I will be kicking this in the butt shortly - a friend of mine had them with her, and I (unfortunately - and overconfidently) tried one, and it tasted like black forest cake :(

I don't own one. . I dont buy a lot of cookies, and when I do have them, I just keep them in a ziploc bag or tupperware, since they'd go stale in a cookie jar before I ate them.. unless they were homemade chocolate chip.. then all bets are off! lol

I was going to say I don't have a cookie jar, but I just realized that my duck is a cookie jar. ha. My duck has packets of hot chocolate mix in it. I don't put cookies in a cookie jar because the seal is never good enough and they dry out.

I have a couple of glass cannister-type jars that sit on my counter. One has sweet-n- low in it and the other has teabags. I just adore the smell of fresh teabags. ha.

I'm with those who keep my cookies in Tupperware. I have a beautiful lighthouse shaped cookie jar that my sister gave me as a present. I buy the multiple bags of small candy bars for my daughter, (usually Reeses cups) and that is what is usually in there. Sorry, I realize that candy bars are probably not on your diet either!

I have an old cookie jar (shape of rooster) that is precious to me, so I don't use it because I would be mortified if I broke it.  Still, I make more cookies than any person I know short of June Cleaver - and I keep them in a large Tupperware Marinating container.
