Singer/Songwriter Brendan James is the artist-to-watch this summer! There as been major buzz about this talented artist, and now you can hear songs from his upcoming album The Day Is Brave exclusively on Gather before it hits stores.   See What Perez Hilton Says About Brendan 

The Day is Brave has been years in the making for James.  The album is thankfully that honest musical manifesto that acknowledges James's growth as a person and a performer. Dominated by James's expressive piano playing, the songs are mainly autobiographical, like "Green," about a former girlfriend he met while working at Urban Outfitters. Brendan! It's terrific to have you here on Gather. Watching you perform live at SXSW in Austin and being able to catch-up before your performance there was a high point of the trip for all of us. I found myself singing "Green" for weeks afterward.

Perhaps we might do a live performance a little later this year?

I'm always looking for new artists, and this is one to watch for sure. If you enjoy the music of Jason Mraz, John Mayer....I have no doubt you will also enjoy Brendan James. "The Sun Will Rise" is my favorite of the songs above, but they are all good. I look forward to the album.

From what I've heard from Brendan thus far, I have to agree with the statement . . . "Singer/Songwriter Brendan James is the artist-to-watch this summer!" ~ and this Fall, and this Winter.

Brendan is very "gifted" ~ no doubt.
