I've cut my shopping at the store down to peanut butter, coffee and soymilk (planning on trying to make nut butter and soymilk). The rest I get from working a farmers market and trading our produce for fish, jams, nuts, ect. It is amazing how little we need to spend if we are smart about it. Great job Tabitha!

Hey Tabitha, wanna go shopping with me? LOL The best I usually do is to save $1 or so using my Homeland savings card. But I do only buy the store brand, so that saves me a lot, too.

Very nice! You're fortunate that your store will double a $1 coupon. All of the places I shop at will only double up to $.99.

We live within shouting distance of five different grocery stores and we cull the sale papers each week for the loyalty card items that are on store sale. Sometimes we have coupons for those items as well so we often come out of the store with a footlong sheet of receipt most of which is refunds or stor specials prompted by the loyalty card. Yours was a great haul - we have saved more than $70 before but the final price was more than $100 but isn't it great to feel like you have scored a bargain?
