My first trip to Vegas is in 23 days!!

I've never been.. I'm so jealous! I really want to go. My sweetie went in November but I couldnt go. the only place he went was Hoover Dam, which he said was really interesting and the M&M store...he loooves m&Ms, so he came back with 10 pounds of different colored M&Ms and paid waaaay too much for them. He could have bought 3 regular 5 lb bags for 8 bucks each, and he probably paid double that for what he bought, but he had fun LOL

Make sure you do the canals at the Venetian. The 12 year old will probably LOVE that! Also - walk around at Ceasar's. And, the fountains in front of the Bellagio!

We are booked for the first week of Sept.
May I suggest you go to the Sahara and drive the hummers & corvettes. Thats fun!!
Take the buses they go everywhere cheap.

The wife and I went to Vegas four years ago and we had a ball!

I have gone to Vegas every year for the last three years. Last year we went for 14 days & we spent less money than when we went the year before.

I have tons of Buy one get one links for food, and shopping discounts. We also saw shows for 12 of those days, plus a few afternoon shows.

I used Tix4tonight located in the Hawiian Marketplace, across from the Polo Towers & near Planet Hollywood. I chose them Because TIX4Tonight - has a LINE PASS so I got front of the line access, & got Half Price Show Tickets plus $1.00 off each 50% off ticket
The next day we showed the tiocket stubb & that enabled us to get a $2.00 savings off each ticket plus the 50% off disounted prices & VIP line pass the next day.

Savings just using the $2.00 for 9 shows x 2 = $36.00 plus $2.00 for the first show = $38.00 in addition to the discounted prices.

I saw Phantom of the opera, tony & tina's wedding, soprano's last supper, stomp out loud, barbara & frank the show that never was (both of them were on abc talent show), Nathan Burton (nbc america's got talent), george wallace, Second city comedy show, penn & teller, david copperfield, carrot top and rita rudner, cirque -ka & O.

I love Las Vegas, but after april until late september, it's too hot there for me. I'm jealous you'll be seeing KA. I have not seen that one yet.

When I was there, I went to some of the exhibits at the Tropicana...there was an increbible Titanic exhibit and one of those human body exhibits there at the time, but I don't know whats there now. Whatever else you decide to do, eat well...there are some amazing restaurants there.

Have a wonderful time. Try to check out some of the big hotels to look at. The NY NY is unbelievable. You can spend a day just looking at them. The Cesors Palace is awesome, a great buffet, and a free statue show. It's great. Check out the M&M shop too. It's on the strip. Just enjoy!!!!

I haven't been in years so anything I know would be no good. I know you will have no trouble finding things to do and see there. Have fun.

Juley g. Have a blast - I got married in Vegas back in the Dark Ages and my brother got married for the third time there and we stood in the wedding party of two. I can't recommend anything specificially as I just go with the flow of the moment - have fun, do it all! Salud.

Ride the Gondolas at the Venetian Hotel.......15.00 per adult, don't know the kids prices, for good thrill rides, go to the Stratosphere, they have awesome thrill rides, and at Circus Circus there is a roller coaster your daughter might enjoy. Siegfried and Roy's White Tiger Habitat.

I'm jealous, too! I loved Las Vegas. And, of course, you know I'm going to recommend the "Music and Passion" show at the Hilton. If you're a very big die-hard fan, get main floor seating. If you just like his music, get the balcony seats. Every seat is good...it's a small theatre. He puts on a great show...very humorous.

Wahoo Vegas here you come. Stay on the populated part of the strip. You know don't candy from strangers etc and generally relax and enjoy. All the above ideas are good and don't forget Belligo. My personal favorite both inside and out. Take and camera and be sure to post some pics.

My daughter and fiancee just went to Vegas and the same show, after losing most all her money gambling she looked for other sites. She went to the M&M factory when they have all the colors and different kinds. You can purchase some but she wont share what she bought LOL.

Then she went to the coca cola museum I guess they called it. Was able to purchase us all some cheap gifts, with the coca cola emblem on them Mine was a fountain pen for $1.98 LOL.
