So I was reading the latest news about the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion for World of Warcraft. I hadn't been all that excited about the hype surrounding the whole Death Knight prestige class, because I had assumed it would be like everything else mega-uber-kewl in WOW. I assumed it would be this long, drawn out quest chain that would require 1000 gold in mats, seventeen weeks of your life, and at least three separate rep grinds to get the quest to go in the raid instance to get the drop that unlocks the prestige class.
I am pleased to say I was wrong.

If you have a 55th level character or higher, you can automatically create a death knight once you get the expansion. More importantly, your death knight can be from ANY RACE!
I see an army of gnome death knights..riding across the land...raising their fallen victims as ghouls!
