TAMPA - A very popular animal rescue group in Utah is getting some new residents this week from the Bay Area. Almost a dozen beagles in Tampa are being sent to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. It's the same sanctuary that rescued dogs after Hurricane Katrina and helped to rehabilitate some of Michael Vick's fighting dogs. The beagles were taken from shelters in Hernando, Hillsborough, and Polk counties. "These poor animals did nothing wrong and they're going to die because people are indiscriminately breeding or just don't take care of their animals and think they're throw-aways," lamented Jack Novoselski of the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue. Beagles are loyal, smart, and friendly dogs -- but they can be a handful. They need a lot of exercise and training. The trip is being funded, in part, by Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue. |

Thank you I'm sure if the dogs could talk they would say thank you too.
As a matter of fact, their magazine is so good, people should contribute just so they get it. I think the donation needs to be something like $20 a year in order to get the magazine.
I, also, post news sometimes that I get from Best Friends. I didn't think of posting it to "EXCUSE ME...DID YOU HAVE SOMETHING YOU WANTED TO SAY???," but I will from now on.
