We were joined by my brother, his wife and their two kids, my husband's parents, my husband's grandma, and my husband's teenage cousin. We have 30 acres off a two track (a small, dirt, non-maintained road) not too far from Traverse City. Nearby, there's a beautiful lookout area and lakes on state land for us to go canoing, swimming, etc...

On our property, we have:
- a common camping area
- a shooting range
- a kid's play area
- trails and tons of woods to explore
Of course, we ate tons of smores. We chopped lots of wood.

We shot lots of guns (an SKS, AK-47, a .22 revolver, a 20 gauge and a .410).
We saw turkey, deer, porcupine, trout in a stream, possum and raccoons. We heard coyotes and found their "scat", but we never saw any in camp.
It was an incredible time!

Have you ever been to Baldwin? That's were we tend to go when we go up North. Although, since building our home in the woods, we feel the same feeling of that air that just feels heavy with nature and crisp with fresh air when we hang out in our yard.
Michigan is so beautiful
A Camping I will go !!
Great pictures, thanks for sharing with me.
