The kind that comes from many of our micro breweries here in Colorado.
I recycle regularly, but was thinking perhaps there was a way to reuse the 6 pack bottle holders.
Do you have any ideas?

So, my Gather friends...my hubby likes good beer.

So I have these case one in each room and whenever I find something in the floor, I put them in these case. It keeps the floor hazard free and I sort my things out by the end of the day or whenever I get some free time. Plus this way I know where to find my stuff if they are not in their original assigned places.
Those are paper, so the containers not used for something else should be recycled.
I'm not an avid beer drinker, but there are lots of other products that come in paperboard containers. That's material that I would like to recycle myself.
It seems that recycling facilities don't advertise and are not readily seen while driving or walking down the street. A check on the Internet turned up no results, not even for here in Los Angeles.
I recycle all of the steel cans, glass and plastic bottles. But, the place where I used to take the paper is no longer a recycling facility, so I'm in the same position as you there.
Incidentally, I'm glad that you are a recycler. Now, if only EVERYONE would get involved.
I'll keep a few for markers and art supplies...and I love the condiment idea and using them to pick up various items floating around the house.
Otherwise, I'll recycle them. Denver has made it super easy to recycle. I have a large purple rolling trash can that I put everything in (no sorting). I get an email reminder to put it in the alley every other week and it's that easy! I have a full bin every two weeks!
One thing that helps is I have a box in my laundry room to gather the daily recycles...then every few days dump them outside in the big recycle bin...
