Sleeping so Perfectly

It's been quite a long time since I wrote a "fatherhood" article.  Life has just been absolutely nuts around here.  I thought I should take some time and fill y'all in on how Kaylin has been doing.

As you can see, Kaylin is getting to be such a big girl.  She is practically sitting up on her own.  She's grabbing everything and trying to put it in her mouth.  It looks as though she's in the beginning stages of teething.  She is such a joy in our lives.  She is a very happy baby.  You can see that in the numerous images of her that Jennifer and myself have posted. 

The one thing that I love the most right now is waking up in the morning and being greeted by a smiley, happy baby.  She is always so happy to see us in the morning.  There is no better way to start a day. 

I noticed something last night that gave me pause to wonder.  We were just getting ready to lay down to sleep last night, and I noticed her breathing so peacefully in her sleep.  She was breathing perfectly, that is, I could see her little abdomen expanding and contracting with each breath.  I had to pause and wonder just how perfectly the human body is constructed from birth.  How could anyone ever say that such a wonderful, perfect thing be an accident?  God gave us a great gift and I am eternally grateful.
