Great question. I worked for 1/2 an hour to try to put a graphic in this comment & a summary of thier lesson but finally gave up :)'

There is room for debate if we make TRUTH singular only and forcus upon the factors that make up the subject. If we took an atom apart we could not say of each of the particles that they were atoms. That's probably where your focus is since I used a singular TRUTH.

In any type of complication, whether mechanical or social we need to take the problem apart and determine what the base laws are that make up the whole. In a dispute between children. You must decide who had authority to make the decision. What laws covered the actions and reactions of the children. Who has authority to judge the problem. And sometimes, what are the penalties caused by someone acting outside their own circle of authority.
Every situation is filled with dozens of truths to consider.
In contrast to twisting ... which is impossible because the moment it is twisted it is no longer truth.

I'll give thought to alternatives ... except it obviously has to be only 2 or 3 words :)

I'm so sorry Karen. I did leave messages at your site. The truth about Gather is that you make friends quick. I go to a site and usually read a number of articles. I begin to know the person a little & feel like I'll know them again. But I can have a great time with someone & then not remember whose icon goes with what material.
It's like it is addictive. I just keep exploring one more site at night until 1 or 2 AM. My brain is scrambled eggs :) Maybe I'll get better ... but since I'm also getting older, who knows?

She ... Great thought! I never even thought about the teaching of God head in regards to breaking truth apart. I see we can't apply my atom theory to everything :)

Seriously though, He is in a class all His own.
It would be hard to use Him as an example since none of us actually knows what an uncreated entity is. He reveals who He is ... but not what.

It's interesting that you bring that up: it's been a subject I've wanted to exchange thoughts on. I used to know about Him. I know less and less the older I get & I like it more and more. Myster really gets your blood going :)

Marie ... thank you for putting things in perspective. It is strange how little you have to go on in Gather world as compared with meeting face to face. In the real world you have not only name, but looks, where you met them, how many children they have, where you went together, who you know in common etc, etc.
Internet friends are something the world could not have invisioned before it happened :)

Thanks Sharon. I saw you have a pretty interesting religious affiliation. Knowlegde (real knowledge) is just another name for truth :)

The way that I see it is that if you write 22 poems about anything then you're celebrating it... and ...it follows that truth is worthy of celebration.
Now why would we celebrate truth when a little lie can make life easier?
For me the thing is that truth opens doors and I llike what I see on the other side of those doors.
It's actually the things on that other side that i celebrate. One of those things is the total freedom to be me.
