One of the groups I've started on Gather is called Beauty in Your Own Backyard .
It's a good reminder to look for beauty wherever you are.
Since joining Gather, I seem to notice beauty everywhere... even in my own back yard.
I started the group because because in my mind, Gather makes me see beauty I wouldn't have seen otherwise, and notice things I wouldn't have given a second glance.
After we returned from Scotland last year with hundreds and hundreds of photos of Scottish flowers, sheep and cows, I started to realize that I am surrounded by beauty in my own back yard, and that every day could be like a mini-vacation if I started to take a few seconds to bask in that beauty just like I do when I'm on a real vacation.
Today, I did just that.
The spring flowers are in full bloom around the Blue Belle Inn.
As you might guess, it's a special time of year when bluebells bloom at the Blue Belle Inn. 
Here's what I found in my own back and front yards this afternoon...

Whether you look up or down, there's beauty all around.
