I wish everyone would do an article like this. I did one a while back and I think it's a lot of fun.

JRB - You are the winner!!!!!!!! While its true, I've been to Mulate's in Breaux Bridge, and it's true I've drank Hurricanes the fact I met my husband there is a big fat lie. I met him on the Internet on a cold, stormy winter night 7 years ago....
The haggis, tatties and neeps were GREAT. In fact I've eaten it on 4 different ocassions and asked for seconds each time!!
I hope you have written out your whole family history!!
Oh no! I was wrong. Give me a hanky.
What I find amazing is the very word 'haggis' seems to make some Americans gag... and this from a nation that celebrates chittlins, loose meat and scrapple!
To say I've tried it and given a verdict is fine, but to say "yuk" without tasting is unacceptable. That's what I told my kids anyway...."giggle*
I've tried Scrapple....... ONCE, never again.
I remember the wonderful buffet breakfasts in Scotland, always big huge bowls of pork and beans and luscious steaming bowls of fresh mushrooms!
One thing I just couldn't bring myself to try in Scotland was "black pudding", I picked it up brought it to my mouth and just couldn't proceed! HA! But, I make no judgments...hee, hee, hee.
I'm not a lover of black pudding either!
A 'full Scottish' breakfast is enough to keep you going for the whole day, isn't it?!
Ishbel - I'm glad I'm not alone on the black pudding delicacy..hee, hee, hee. It wasn't just the breakfasts but every meal we ate was wonderful. I especially remember a meal served at a bed and breakfast in Locherbie, the chef and owner was the retired chef to the Queen at Balmoral...gaddds, was that good! We also ate at the pubs, wonderful!
Marilyn - Bzzzzzzzz, you're wrong. I was indeed a web developer having worked on computers since 1987, I opened my own web developing company in 1997.
