Well, my man plans on officially getting the Walmart VISA with his stimulus check (he doesn't listen), but I'm afraid with fees as most cards eat lots of your money right out of your pocket and hopefully, Walmart VISA doesn' do this. Maybe you can give me your feedback and experience on having a Walmart VISA? Was there a lot of fees, for checking amount, etc?
Can Walmart VISA be used ANYWHERE? For example: If I want to order something online NOT from Walmart, can I place the order?
thanks,
Michelle

I have no experience with the Walmart Visa. Just make sure you read all the fine print.
Your Gracee, is absolutly adorable.
And why is it HIS cheeck, are you not married, dont you share and like sharon sid the babies should get it....
do like i do.there are 2 cards out right now that you only haveta pay for the card itself.one is the allaccessgiftcard....this card comes in increments of $25,$50 and $100...so whatever one u get,add 3.95 to it for the card.no other charges apply.....less you count what you buy of course.
the other good prepaid visa card is the one you purchase directly from USBank....this card costs $4.95 and you can load up to $500 on one card.i buy both these prepaid credit cards often for i shop alot online.every paycheck i buy one.
also FYI,both of these cards i mentioned ,you also have the option to purchase either a permanent prepaid card...meaning,.you buy it,then they send it to you in the mail...you load what you want on nit and when that uns out, load it again and so on.
go to USBank.com or the bank itself for info on it.
also for the other,go to allaccessgift.com for info on there loadable card.
hope this info helped
anyway, have a good weekend and i hope i helped ya
I'm assuming you're talking about the Walmart Visa debit card. Just as with any other debit card, you can use it wherever the merchant accepts Visa (for Visa debit cards, or MasterCard for Mastercard Debit debit cards). So you can use it to make purchases where debit cards are accepted (provided they're on the same network), or where Visa credit cards are accepted.
If you plan on using it to store/withdraw money at an ATM, the fees can become quite ridiculous. Also, I don't know of any way to check your balance other than by making a purchase in the store (maybe there's a phone number you can call?).
As others have posted here, make sure you check out the agreement (which is basically a legal contract) before you do this. Lots of these cards charge fees for putting more money on the card, and it can become quite pricey!
Good luck!

I do not know about the wal-mart debit cards, but from what people are saying they are ripping people off with fees and such, so it does not sounds worth it.
Credit Unions are almost all fully insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and if not, find a different CU.
Hope this helps!
