The Eyes of Roy Hilbinger

It's a rainy day, so I'm indoors. I decided to re-shoot my eye following some suggestions from Heather W (open your eye wide as if in surprise when you take the shot) and some trial and error of my own (turns out the best way to do it was with flash). Then I played in Photoshop. These are the results. I'm thinking I'll switch among them for my icon. What do you think?

#1 involved minimal Photoshop work - I desaturated a bit on the flesh tones and lightened and juuuust barely upped the saturation on the iris. It really is close to what I see when I look in the mirror:
 

#2 I amped up the saturation on the iris to give that glowing eyes look:


#3 is basically shot #1 with everything but the iris converted to b&w:

#4 is definitely the "aliens among us" look:

I have a candidate #5, using a Photoshop layers process that I love but forgot to use with this. This one I like best of all:


So whaddaya think?
