A couple of nights ago as the sun was starting to set my daughter and husband went outside while I was trying to get our little boy down for bed-time. My husband came in a few minutes later and said, "Grab your camera and come look where Maddie (our daughter) is!" I grabbed the camera and this is what I found.
She took her first go around with climbing a tree in our front yard!! It is a smaller tree, but to her it is huge!!
She was so brave. Daddy was standing right below her the whole time in case she decided to take a flying leap. Look at Maddie way up in the tree!
She was so proud of herself for her accomplishment of tree climbing in our front yard!! Her facial expression is saying, "I DID IT!"
She was getting very high at this point when I told her, "Don't look down Maddie." So of course that is the first thing she did!
Here she is doing a little pose for the camera!! She was sure showing off for Mommy and Daddy!
The sun was starting to set and we were all starting to get chilly! It was time to go inside for the night. This is when Maddie hollered, "Catch Me Daddy!" And he did.

I remember when my daughter climbed her first tree. I too had to grab the camera and get a few shots!
