I stood outside glancing at
The steps of hell,
Delirious and incoherent
Visions of no return swirling
Around my soul.
I can still hear...fear
Sounds of Broken Bones
Another figure standing
In front of my dream
Will illusions of conquering
A delightful silhouette
Strolling right behind
My shadows holding me
To a twilight, predicting defeat
As nails began a painful journey
Memories of endless tribulations.
A Tear felt right in front of
An illusion of love.
Casting any doubt of surrender,
Consumed by my own desires
A perpendicular aspiration
Settled in your inner self
Pushing your original
Life struggles to The side of an Abyss,
Calmness finally invaded my senses
Prognosticating peaceful cry of freedom...

Loved these lines . . .
"Consumed by my own desires
A perpendicular aspiration"
What a phrase ~ A perpendicular aspiration
Good title for a SERIES of poetics . . . Perpendicular Aspirations by Rony
You're really making us sit up and take POETIC NOTICE!
Blessings my friend ~

(Hope I'm interpreting your poem right. How embarrassing if I'm not :)
Anyway, I'll take the chance.
NEARLY THEY STOOD
Nearly they stood who fall.
Themselves, as they look back,
See always in the track
The one false step, where all
Even yet, by lightest swerve
Of will yet enslaved --
By smallest tremor of the smallest nerve,
Might have been saved.
Nearly they fell who stand.
And with cold after-fear
Look back to mark how near
They grazed the Siren's land,
Wondering that subtle fate,
By threads so spidery-fine,
The choice of ways so small, the event so great,
Should thus entwine.
Therefore oh, man, have fear
Lest oldest fears be true,
Lest thou too far pursue
The road that seems so clear,
And step, secure, a hair's
Breadth past the hair-breadth bourne,
Which, being once crossed forever unawares,
Denies return.
