For example - I graduated from high school top of my class, and he yelled at me and called me irresponsible b/c I asked my Mom to hold my keys for me during the graduation ceremony. Ruined the entire night for me.

The second I wish I would have been disciplined and stopped from making the biggest mistake of my life, at seventeen, never having had a boyfriend or a date, my boss had wooed and asked me to marry, Vietnam vet with PTSD, 15 years my senior and 2 kids not much younger than me. I accepted and started planning, as after graduation I had to do something and knew all that would be encouraged, and indeed was expected of me, was to marry and have babies, no college for me, and knew not what else to do. That, someone most definitely should have stopped. But, then also I guess, I would not be now who I am if they had. Who knows? Not a question I allow my self to ponder generally.......
