Family Gathering! (photo essay)

We had a big family get together on Sunday (Mothers Day) for my husbands side of the family. I was blessed when marrying Lenny to acquire three new sisters in law, and two new brothers in law, and a whole mess of nieces and nephews.

My husband BBQ'd hamburgers and hotdogs. We also had baked beans, and potato salad, strawberries with whipped creme, homemade macaroni and cheese casserole, green beans, and barbequed potato chips. It was quite the feast.

More important than the food though was family time spent together. Here is a shot with me and all the girls. (All of us in a huddle just goofing around outside!) I am the second one from the left on the back row with the glasses on. My daughter Maddie is down on the bottom right in the purple.

We decided if all the girls were going to get together, we would make all the boys get up from the sports network and come outside for a photo. They were all very thrilled about that as you can just imagine. Here are all the boys, minus one brother in law of mine that could not make it and his little boy.

My husband is on the back row on the right hand side and our little boy Aidan is sitting on Uncle Jeffs lap!! Don't they all look thrilled to get their picture taken! ha ha ha

Now the boys go back inside to the sports channel. Big Surprise there!! ha ha ha

I got this photo of my Mother in law, and my husbands three sisters! I grew up with only one brother, so it's been nice having three new sisters that I never knew I even wanted.

      Since it was MOTHERS DAY, I decided to take photos of each of my sister in laws with their kids, just so they would have some pictures for their scrap albums. Here are each of them with their kids for Mothers Day 2008.
