House Cleaning

How many of you like to do the detailed cleaning? or do you just like the everyday stuff like picking up vacuming, dusting, dishes.

I think some of us dread the more detailed cleaning. It is more time consuming and involves more. Have you done your spring cleaning yet? I did have my rugs cleaned in March, and did clean out the storage shed. Need to do more though.

I do the major cleaning whenever I can. I don't have a usual Spring Cleaning routine. I did a major cleaning of my kitchen this past weekend. Sparkle, sparkle. I'm lucky that hubby will help alot. I can't get up on chairs or bend down, so he has to do that kind of stuff for me.

I actually like to clean - I find it a good time to think and if I can find a way to make it fun for the kids too then they join in and "help." I haven't done any spring cleaning yet, because it's getting very hard to move around...

I like to have my house clean. I usually major clean one room a month..so last month I did the kitchen from head to toe.haha...and now its the living room, this way I don't feel overwhelmed by it, and it still gets done. Once all the rooms are done I go back to the first one which was my bedroom. of course everyday I still clean like dust, vaccum, and whatever else I can fit in to the day.

I don't like DOING any of it. I give myself 15 minutes a day to clean, 1 hour on Saturdays. Everything else has to either be taken care of by my husband, or doesn't get done. Period.

I hate to clean house and I'm not physically able to do a lot of the work anymore. My daughter helps with a lot of stuff and my husband helps with some and I do what I can. The rest just doesn't get done. We have to do a lot of cleaning because we have 2 dogs and 12 cats and they make a mess of the house. We also have rat cages, gerbil cages, and aquariums to clean.

I'm with you about the baseboards, I do them around Christmas but I do clean my house weekly and vacuum twice a week or more depending on my family tracking in dirt.

I hate doing it! That would mean that I would have to tear myself away from Gather!

When I do do it, I go whole hog. From floor to ceiling to moving the furniture, this place shines. I try to do it once a month and try not slaughter the first person to drop something on the kitchen floor!

I do the weekly cleaning but sometimes the extra's don't get done for lack for time. It's ok but I'd rather do other things like gather.....lol
