The Things Moms Do
by Marilyn Mackenzie
My hubby handed me the newsletter from his workplace a few minutes ago and there on the second page was this quote by Tenneva Jordan. "A mother is a person who, seeing that there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces that she never did care for pie."
That is what mothers do, isn't it?
What else?

Just like how mom always gets the bent fork every time.
I find myself doing this too.
Moms do a lot that we wouldn't normally do for someone else. Sharing is a big thing for me. I'm always sharing my food or something.
That's a fib. She would never be caught short. When she planned a dinner it was with the thought, "Just in case 7th Calvary happens by."
Another thing she would do is not be sick, when her children were sick, just so she could take care of them.
