I believe that you have comment, email, and answer everything you get. i do not earn that many points but I do know that the more I do the more better it becomes. Plus the more groups that I belong to is very key. I know that if I allow myself to write an article I want to figure out who it might attract and than I find those groups and post to them. The more groups and the more friends you have the better your chances of getting alot of points.

I go to "search profiles" and I first went to Alaska and asked EVERYONE that is on BT from Alaska to be my friend - you get 7 points for each person that you ask to be your friend. Say there is only 25 people in Alaska, that is 175 points just for asking them all to be your friend. I then click on alabama and do the same, say there are 250 people in the Alabama list, well I only ask as many as I need to finish out my 1500 daily points. I then the next day click on "view requested friends" and many people will have asked you to be their friend...you then approve and confirm them and you get 7 points for each one that you confirm to be your friend.

This process only takes about 1/2 hour to an hour and I have my 1500 points in a very short time. I do other things on BT as well but this is my main way of getting quick points.
My goal is to have all 4000+ members to be my friend. LOL
