If I walked out to this, the first thing I'd do; after I was done freaking out; would be to get some bug spray. I know spiders are helpful in getting rid of lots of other insects, but I don't want them anywhere around me. Then, I'd grab a broom and brush the webs down...then spray the screens with the hose...just to make sure none of those little critters were lurking, though they're probably in hiding. No thanks. I don't share my space with spiders!

I don't see any spiders and you didn't mention seeing any. I'm wondering if those are stray pieces of silk that breezes have brought to your screens, rather than any deliberate web making attempts.
It is spooky, though. I'll keep my eyes and ears open to the news, in case they report a house in Kentuck found completely cocooned in webbing.
