I Cant believe I did it

Have you ever done something so out of charactar that you yourself can't believe you even did it?  This weekend I did.  As a mother's day present to myself I went with 2 other friends and got a tattoo.  It didn't hurt as much as I expected and I'm glad I did it.  I got a cross with the Autism Awareness puzzle pieces inside in honor of Jesus and my son Owen.

Well, let's see.... getting toasted at my Dad's place, meeting a guy 35 years my senior (yes Walker I said SENIOR!!!) and marrying him??? I guess I had more chutzpah than I realized. Until I did it, that was out of character for me, but now that I've done it, anything is possible!!!

What a beautiful tattoo! When I got my first one years ago, everyone thought it was so totally out of character for me, too. I was the good girl of the family and yet I was the very first to get a tattoo. Shocked quite a few people. Some people still don't believe me when I say I have tattoos.

Wow, very brave of you! I am a one on one aide with a (will be 7th grade) boy with Autism. I've been with him since he was in 4th grade! He told me yesterday "I was family" I thought that was so sweet of him!

Good for you! I don't think I could get a tattoo! My husband has a couple, and is talking about getting another one. Right now he has a US flag on his arm, and our son's full name and birthday across his heart.
