My daughter is graduating high school, and before she leaves for college, I'm giving her a scrapbook of "motherly advice." Any suggestions for what to put in it?
My personal motto is "Live and learn," and I've said this to my kids so much, they say it before I can get it out of my mouth...LOL! Do you have a personal motto?

Rule 1: Breathe. (Rule one-A: Breathe AIR.) - You'd probably be amazed at how often this is useful advice.
Rule 2: Never turn down something that is actually free. Especially food.
"When on holiday/vacation, you will always remember the great time that you had, but not the money that you spent."

Here's a quote I wanted to include--
"To be yourself -in a world
which is doing its best, night and day,
to make you like everybody else
means to fight the hardest battle
which any human being can fight,
and never stop fighting.
~E.E. Cummings
It covers MANY bases from someone putting something that will make you sick, pranks, or bugs~
The very first thing that came to mind was that someone once told me to "never drink and pass out where you don't want to wake up." I never wanted to find out what it meant or what would happen so I avoided it all :)
