Taking my Girl Scouts to the zoo tomorrow!

Yes I am!  I am taking 12 giggling 7-year-olds to the Houston zoo tomorrow.  If you had plans to go to the Houston zoo tomorrow you should probably wait until Sunday!  You will hear us coming, I am sure!  I have planned to help them earn the Animals Try-It patch and finish the Eco Explorer patch.  We are going to each have a shoe box and fill it with things we find and build a habitat for a pretend animal from those things!  Then, we are going to have a picnic in Hermann Park before heading home! 

What are your weekend plans?

That sounds like a lot of fun. I love to go to the zoo. We took all the kids from work to the zoo last summer and had a great time. We had a picnic during the day at the zoo. We hired a bus to transport the kids.

We will be at Natural Bridge, Bluffview and Dr Evermor's Art Park tomorrow. Sunday we'll relax and start thinking about packing and what to bring on vacation!

Have a really good time! Take lots of photos. One of the things I have done with my troops is make a photo album for all of them every year. We just finished our 10th year. It's a lot of fun to look back at the photos. :)
