I am happy to report that spring has finally started to grace North Iowa...
My daffodils remind me of trumpets, announcing the arrival of spring!

My daffodils rise up to herald spring in shades of white, yellow, peach and pink.

Some look downright orange, but I try to ignore that, since orange does not match with my house.

Some grow in the tangled cluster of my cottage garden...

Some grow in solitary splendor in a patch of soil all their own.

Some are a bit shy...

Others stand tall and proud at their posts.

Some are delicate. Some find strength in numbers.
Some are trend-setters.

Some wear very traditional garb...

Others beg to be more dazzling.

I hope you've enjoyed sharing the first glimpses of spring with me!
