This Gather Lady is Walking

Remember Elsie's poem?

She wrote it the last time I started doing the walking thing.... that didn't last too long... or at least not with as much regularity as I wanted..... but I am doing better this time.... have walked 5/7 days lately... or 3/4....

Haven't made it ALL the way to the store yet.... but have been going half to 2/3rds of the way... which is about 2 miles.

Last night I took the camera with me..... going to have to make a habit of that... tonight was frustrating cuz the trilliums are just starting to bloom!

Anyway.... some pictures:

The view across the road was much nice before they chopped down all the trees - and then ran out of money for the development, and abandonned it.

Poor little kids were abandonned in the mess.

 And the boy has even worse problems! It's too bad it is him that is decapitated, not her - I often deal with 'decapitated female' issues in my work... could have used it, if only....

Locals live here - you can tell by the trees (citiots have issues with trees, apparently)

This is another cleared lot.... at least here they are still building, albeit very slowly. You can see the marina in the background.

And just because I like taking pictures of trees.... new spring growth
