So what's your life story? This American Life, a 15-year-old radio program turned Showtime original series, looks at the stories of people all across the country. The stories are dramatic, emotional, and sometimes funny.
In honor of the new season of the show, Gather is giving 4 members a This American Life poster signed by host Ira Glass! All you have to do is name your story. Post a comment under this article telling us what the title of your episode would be. Our 4 favorite episode titles will receive the signed posters.

So what's my episode title? I think it would have to be "A Day in the Life of a Drama Queen." Now it's your turn.
Good Luck!
This American Life airs Sundays at 10 pm ET/PT (after The Tudors) only on Showtime.

Ok. Mine would be......
"Queen of My Universe"
And the episode would be about the trials and tribulations of Queening My Own Universe. The glories, the triumphs, the failures, and the stories of managing life, picking faithful minions, and preparing the progeny to be exposed to said universe...so that they and others might expand their own without colliding or trespassing on others.
OK....work with that til I have a better title.....hee.
How about:
'Neverending Audition'
or
'The Path Less Travelled Needs Mowing'
I am reaching.....but I am down to win this thing.
He should so do a show on 'Great Expectations' (which i think actually was a show....i can think of a better title later)
Act 1
Sea Monkeys
As a child I wanted so much to have sea monkeys. So I mowed lawns. Sold washed tennis balls to reuse. Did odd jobs. All so i could get myself the Sea Monkey Kingdom. I had visions of castles and 'Under the Sea' scenes. Only to find out what was promised in the back of a comic book was brine shrimp.
Act 2
Wheaties
I figured the Olympic athletes and various sports stars ate them and became strong. People asked: have you ate your wheaties today? or said 'Wow he must have eaten his wheaties. So I ate the nasty mess.....and believed....that I. too. could do great things by eating that nasty cereal.
Act 3
Nike - Swoosh?
I was very nearly always the last to finish the race in PE. So when Nike came out with the power blue tennies with the dark blue swoosh.....I believed that I could finally not be last just by wearing these shoes.
Here is another title - 'Where there is a Will'
That would be about how I am totally trying to get an autographed poster. hee.
The story about how a lowly wage slave tries to make her life fruitful from the confines of a small work space.
Yeah, it probably doesn't qualify as an "American" Life Story. But that would be my life story "IN" America.
'Love in Old Clothes'
