As I mentioned in a couple of comments yesterday, I received a $50 Home Depot gift card as a birthday gift. So I went right out to spend it, lol. The photos in this essay are what I added and changed since yesterday - Quite a bit of changes actually.
I also need help in identifying a bulbed flower that were planted here before I moved in. They spread each year too. I've included two photos of them at the end and used one of those as the icon for this article. I'd like to know what they are.

This new bed was shown empty yesterday. My bird bath, which arrives by May 14th will be placed in the flat spot in front of the tree in the back right of this shot. All this is new. I added a large bag of dirt, the stake crystal butterfly, the blue-green pottery mushroom stake, the hummingbird feeder, 4 impatiens, 2 scarlet bigonias and 2 dusty miller.
Once the bird bath is in, I will add 4 more plants to fill in. I gave up on the idea of planting seeds here since they require full sun and this area gets partial sun only.

I decided to move the big planted pot from the back deck down with this back driveway bed since it looks nicer here and no one could view it on the back deck. I like it here better.

I showed the flower pot above and below yesterday, but wanted to provide a perspective shot of its placement and also show how these perked up over night. The mushroom stake is newly added.

I liked the flower pot so much that I made another one and placed it in the front of the same large pine straw island. It's right next to the makeshift walkway that leads to the mailbox.

It has two different plants that I can't remember what they're called, 1 dusty miller and 2 zinnias. I included a closeup shot below.

Finally, I have these bulb flowers that come up every year. They were here before me. I don't know what they are. Can anyone tell me?

Every year I get more of them. And they're skattered all over the pine island.

I'll probably spend some time this afternoon picking up pinecones and sticks. I already went out this morning with another round of Roundup. Most of the weeds are dying already, but poison ivy and virginia creeper usually take two to three treatments.
So what do you think of the additions and changes?

Your garden is taking shape and looking good, girl:) As far as the mystery plant, I suspect it may be some sort of earth orchid - but what do I know. It looks positively stunning, I wouldn't mind having one of those in my garden.
I don't know what that bulb is but it sure is beautiful! Its so unusual...I hope someone can identify it for you.
Have a great week my Gather friend.

I love the look of the pots. I thought about buying some and aging them because they look so much better when they get rid of that new orangey color.
