I got $49.46 worth of groceries for $8.20!

Man, I love coupons!

Today, I got:
  1. 1 12-pack Diet Coke
  2. 1 carton Breyer's Carb Smart Chocolate Ice Cream
  3. 4 Healthy Choice Panini's
  4. 3 6-pks Jello Sugar Free Pudding
  5. Kroger kitchen garbage bags (not exciting, but necessary)
  6. 13 jars of Gerber baby food
  7. 7 2-pk containers of Gerber Baby Food
for $8.20!

The ice cream was free with the purchase of 4 Healthy Choice entrees, which were on sale 4/$10.  I had 2 $1 off 2 coupons, which Kroger doubled.  So, I got the ice cream and 4 panini's for $6 total.

I got a $2 off next purchase coupon for buying the 3 Jello puddings.  We love pudding.  My husband, daughter and myself tend to each have one for dessert every night.  I used 3 $.50 off 1 coupons, which Kroger doubled, so I got the 3 6 pks for $5.40 instead of the full price of $8.40 AND got an additional $2 savings (so really, I could say I got them for $3.40 or $1.13 each--versus $2.80 full price!).

I had a ton of Gerber coupons, so the savings there were a combination of $1.00 off of 4 jars, BOGO, etc... 

I didn't have a coupon for the coke, and normally I don't buy without a coupon, but I thought $1.99 was a good price for a 12 pack.  I drink a diet coke every other day or so, so this will be a treat for me for the next couple of weeks. 

The clerk was amazed at my reduced total!

That's the kewlest! I once got a $20 roast for $2, at Smith's using coupons and reward coupons and my Smith's card. What a bargain!

wow..great job! I went to WinnDixie yesterday and spent 72.00.. dont ask me what the heck I bought LOL I bought steaks..BOGO..and most of what I got was BOGO or on sale..and it was still 72.00.. I haven't been to a regular grocery store in a real long time.. I usually shop at Super Walmart, but I had to go to WD yesterday.. we were in a hurry and it was close by.. and the prices are definitely higher. YIKES

I live in southern utah and i never see places that double your coupons, is it only certain stores?
