Love At First Sight

Matthew 4:18-20, Acts 9:3-8, I Corinthians 15:3-4

A light breeze blowing;
The bright sun glowing.
The smell of seawater stung,
While praises the sandy beach sung.

The scene was set.
A man Peter met.
Running over Him through hurry;
Followed then by a, "Sorry."
But when their eyes met, you could hear Peter say:
I believe in love at first sight,
Since I looked into the eyes
Of Him Who'd die for me.
I will follow Him!
I will follow Him now!
My passion burns for my Lord,
Forever and ever I serve.

A full moon was out
Illuminating a long, dusty route.
In the mellow light
Stood the convoy in all her might.

There stood Saul,
Who was soon to be Paul.
Suddenly a bright light shone.
To Who he was looking was not quite known,
But when their eyes met, you could hear Saul cry:
I believe in love at first sight,
Since I looked into the eyes
Of Him Who died for me.
I will follow Him!
I will follow Him now!
My passion burns for my Lord,
Forever and ever I serve.

A silent room,
Quieter than inside a tomb.
I lay on my bed
With a comforter of red.

If I could only see Him,
And know He's not a crazy whim.
Remove all the religious frill and lace.
I just want to see His face.
But when our eyes met, you could hear me shout:
I believe in love at first sight,
Since I looked through the eyes of faith
At Him Who rose for me.
I will follow Him!
I will follow Him now!
My passion burns for my Lord.
Forever and ever I serve.

Believe or not, I intended on writing an ooey-gooey love poem, but this is what I ended up with. It's a great poem and better expresses my thoughts at the time, but I still have my great love poem floating in my head waiting for the right time to express itself on paper.
