We took these pictures in Battery Park.  The first picture is the plaque in front of the sculpture that states that it stood in front of the World Trade Center for 3 decades and then was placed in battery park in March of 2002 as a temporary memorial to all those that lost their lives in 9-11.  I think it is so sad to see the damage the sculpture received.
