Tonight I had an unexpected visitor on my doorstep. My former neighbor Romero showed up drunk. He was so drunk that he was stumbling. I tried to talk to him a bit, but he tried to kiss me. I thought it w
as just a friendly kiss until he slipped me the tongue. He almost fell over when I backed away.
I have always enjoyed his company and was really sad to see him move, when he lost his house to foreclosure. I had not seen him in several months, but was a bit concerned about his level of intoxication. I wanted to know if he drove and was safe.
I tried to talk to him to catch up on things, but he was more concerned about putting the moves on me. My son came home minutes later, and I led Romero outside to chat with the boys.
They laughed and carried on. They thought it was extremely funny to see him put his hands all over me! We took a bunch of pictures, but most of them Romero was flipping off the camera.

Romero was trying to take me to dinner. He was hungry. I offered to feed him something here, but he wanted to go out. I told him I would drive, and take the boys too.
We drove to a place called Jalisco's. I ordered a taco, and the boys ordered huge plates of nachos. I thought it was pretty important to get some food in him. He continued to hav
e his hands all over me.
When we got home he tried to continue to put the moves on, so I invited him and the boys for a walk down to the Main Street Market. We call it the little store. I bought the boys some sodas. We were waiting for Romero to come out and ran into Lucky.
Lucky stops by my house every day. He likes to talk to the boys and he wants to buy a camper that is in my driveway. He asks every day if I want to sell it to him.
He cracks me up. He is a persistent guy. The boys love to hang out with him. Most of the time he is sober, but occasionally he has a few beers in him. He was at the little store getting some beer.
The boys tried to get Lucky to buy them a cigar. He was thinking about it, but looked at me, and decided he better not. I told Lucky that my son will be 18 in a week, and he can buy him a cigar then.

Lucky got excited to hear of my son's birthday coming up. He is going to bring him some carne asada for his birthday, and maybe a cigar.
Soon Romero came out of the store with a twelve pack of beer! Oh great! He dropped them on the sidewalk, and they rolled all over the sidewalk. He went back to get a bag to carry them home. Romero tried to get rid of the boys, because he wanted to be alone with me. Oh gasp! I just love the smell of stale beer. I tried to explain to him that I was very flattered, but he was drunk. I also said that I am a mother, and we have not even been dating. I asked him to respect my space. I tried to offer him a place on the couch to sleep, but he kept coming into my room and laying on top of me in bed. I finally just had enough, and made it very clear that he could sleep on the couch or sleep somewhere else. By this point the boys no longer thought it was funny, and wanted to protect me from him. My son went to talk to him.

He decided to leave. We offered a cab, but he did not have a car. I think he had another friend close by. The really sad part is that I used to have a secret crush on him, when he lived across the street. He was always so sweet. He has had a difficult time lately. It is too bad, because he looks a little rough around the edges now, and a little too drunk for me.

I think I would have tossed him out the minute he tried to kiss me. You were much too kind to him.
Sounds to me like Ramero is making his own life hard on him.
But then I am not one to tolerate drunks in my house. ;o)
Too bad he's going down hill, he's really cute.
I'm glad your son was there. It sounds like that had the potential to get ugly.
Lucky seems like a comical guy!! Nice mug for the camera!!! LOL.
You can always pour the beer down the sink....
it's a shame when you secretly have a crush on someone and they act like this. i hope he gets his act together soon.
Hope he gets it together.
